VT Solutions proudly participated in the prestigious IWA Ball, a hallmark event in Suva hosted by Judy Compain and the International Women’s Association. The occasion, held annually, served a noble purpose this year: raising funds to renovate and enhance the maternity wards and children's hospital at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital.
Set against the elegant backdrop of the Grand Pacific Hotel, the evening commenced with a delightful cocktail mixer, allowing guests to mingle and savor refreshments before the formal program began. Among the distinguished guests were the esteemed players of the Fijiana Women’s team, invited by VT Solutions & Tuivt.com as special guests. Fresh from their victory as reigning champions of the SuperW 2023 season, Asinate Serevi, Vani Arei, and Doreen Narokete represented the team with grace and generosity, donating signed Fijiana Drua & Fijian Drua jerseys for auction.
Adding to the excitement, Tuivt.com, our esteemed retail partner, generously contributed prizes for the auction. These included Tuivt’s acclaimed Power Tower, golf bags, an electric scooter, and an electric bike. Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed delectable cuisine and live music, creating an ambiance of joy and camaraderie.
The contributions of the Drua ladies were duly recognized during the event, celebrating their remarkable triumph and their altruistic gestures towards the cause. The auction of the jerseys raised an impressive total of $8,000 FJD, further testament to the community's support and generosity.
Ultimately, the IWA Ball proved to be a resounding success, raising over $155k in funds dedicated to supporting the invaluable work of the NGO, particularly in the renovation and enhancement efforts at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital’s maternity wards and children’s hospital.
